Earth Day Eve: Creating a Healthy Future Presented by Sustainable World Coalition, a project of Earth Island Institute Wednesday, April 21 / 7:00 pm – 10:30 pm In the Goldman Theater and Hazel Wolf Gallery Enjoy this special reception and presentation event celebrating the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. Featuring a keynote by John and Ocean Robbins on the Wisdom of Partnership, the event will also feature a talk by Mark Dubois about the FOUR YEARS. This class will teach you all the essentials, from the basics of writing effective press releases, media advisories and op-eds to techniques for doing successful interviews for TV, radio and print. Learn how to develop sound bites, tricks for answering difficult or off-topic questions, mistakes to avoid, and how to respond to inaccurate coverage. Discover what makes a "good source" and how to become one, building lasting relationships with journalists.
