GreenForAll: Tell Congress to go Green For All in the Economic Stimulus Package

Have you heard? It's all over the news: people everywhere are talking about the possibility of a recession. From Wall Street to Oakland, economic tensions are high.

Congress and the President are scrambling to develop a stimulus package to jump start the economy. Bush is calling for more corporate tax breaks and rebates for the rich -- a false and short-term approach that's not only economically flawed, but also morally bankrupt. Instead of old ideas rooted in a dirty, fossil fuel based economy, Congress must use this opportunity to pass a green stimulus package that helps those who need it the most.

Rebuilding America's crumbling infrastructure offers two opportunities that we must seize as a nation: transitioning America to a clean energy economy and expanding economic opportunity for all.
