So you've framed your issue, developed your messages and honed your key talking points, now what? In this course we'll develop our skills as spokespeople and prepare for interviews of all types. We will master the print interview, covering the gamut from telephone interviews to stand ups, to one-on-one coffee dates with reporters and even explore the Editorial Board meeting scenario. On the radio and TV side we will take it all on. From pre-taped to live, radio call-in to debate, talk show to news magazine format, local TV news stand-up to remote satellite cable show, you will prep and practice a range of electronic media interviews, including on camera work. What to wear, how to make the most of body language and vocal intonation, and tips for staying focused since there is no such thing as off the record! Come with talking points and sound bytes ready!
