Water Aid: Fundraising to Secure Drinking Water for Cyclone-Impacted Areas of Myanmar

In light of the natural disaster in Myanmar, Spark and CARE are partnering on an event to send clean drinking water there -- it will be next Thursday, May 22nd in San Francisco (see details below and at www.sparksf.org).  CARE has been working on the ground in Myanmar for several years and can help ensure the water is properly distributed.

The devastation of Tropical Cyclone Nargis has left nearly 70,000 dead and thousands without access to food, water, and shelter. 100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to CARE to support their efforts on the ground to supply drinking water to the most needy in Myanmar.
