Precinct Walk: No on Prop 98

 Urban Habitat and the Bay Area SEC staff have been working with our allies in a local coalition, Oakland Rising, to mobilize Oakland residents to oppose Proposition 98 for this coming June election. 
 
Proposition 98 would abolish Rent Control, Environmental Review for land use and zoning, Just Cause Evictions, and Inclusionary Zoning Laws.  Basically, Prop 98 would reverse every protection and benefit for low-income folks that we've fought for over the past 20 years!
 
In response Urban Habitat is asks all of our Oakland-based caucus members to pitch in to our campaign to educate and turn out Oakland's flatland residents at the polls on June 3rd.  We have precinct-walks and phone-banking between 9am to 1pm on Saturday May 24 and May 31.
