Join the Bay Area Environmental Health Collaborative (BAEHC) in demanding that the Bay Area Air Quality Management District address the cumulative and inquitable impacts of toxic air pollution that hits hardest on low-income and working class communities of color.

BAEHC is demanding that the Air District adopt our proposed Pollution Reduction Protocol that calls for an end to most new pollution permits and implementation of pollution reduction plans in overburdened communities.

Recently, the Air District proposed regulatory changes that were a step in the right direction, and would have created stricter pollution thresholds in highly impacted communities.

However, after pressure from industry forces who demanded to conduct "business as usual," the Air District has now withdrawn their proposal to create more health-protective standards in communities most impacted by pollution.

We need your support. Here's what you can do to help:

1) Add your organization's name to BAEHC's
sign-on letter.

2) Mobilize at the upcoming Air District Board meeting on Dec. 16th at 9:30am at 939 Ellis Street (near Van Ness) in San Francisco.

3) Contact the Air District Board Member who should be representing you. Tell them to protect community health by adopting BAEHC's Pollution Reduction Protocol and creating additional health-protective standards for communities most impacted by pollution.

It's time to speak up loud and clear...
No more business as usual!
Stop the pollution in our communities!!
