Climate Action Facilitator Training
Deepen your role as a climate change advocate with the Ecology Center's free facilitator trainings. If you've already participated in a Climate Action Workshop series or would rather lead your own with friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, congregation members or others, come to our one-session facilitator training. We'll share materials and strategies to help you easily mobilize your community members, and we'll provide ongoing support as you plan and hold your own series. No experience necessary to participate.
By organizing a series, you'll be given free membership to the Ecology Center for a year if you have not previously been a member

Rally for Clean Air & Healthy Communities for Oakland
This is the first step to turning the Plan proposal that we've worked so hard to craft into official Oakland policy -- and for Oakland to have the best plan in the nation to fight global warming! Help us ensure that Oakland adopts an Energy and Climate Action Plan that is good for the economy, good for people, and good for the planet.
Clean Power, Healthy Communities
Despite groundbreaking laws to address global warming, greenhouse gas emissions continue to rise. In response, community advocates throughout the Bay Area are advocating local solutions, with a focus on building healthier communities and creating green jobs in our communities. The conference will report on the status of clean energy programs around the Bay, share best practices, bring together clean energy advocates, and explore the potential for more regional collaboration and coordination.
