Dec. 14: Greenlining Institute’s Community Art Gallery

The Greenlining Institute is working to open a community art gallery early next year and is currently looking for emerging artists and students from the East Bay to showcase their work.  The gallery is a chance to give a voice to those who may not be heard, and allow them to communicate their thoughts and interpretations of a central theme: “move.”  The gallery will be juried by several local artists and a committee made up of Greenlining staff members who will be guided by the mission of the Institute to empower the underserved as well as the central theme.

All entries must be submitted by December 14, 2007, along with entrants’ complete contact information. For more information, please call (510) 926 4014 or email joseft[at]greenlining.org.
