Housing California will be hosting its annual confrence from Tuesday, April 26 through Thursday, April 28, at the Sacramento Convention Center. This is a great opportunity to learn from your peers and colleagues, network with old friends and make some new ones, and help Housing California continue our work to prevent homelessness and increase the variety and supply of safe, stable, accessible, and permanently affordable places to live.

As one of the foremost leaders in economic and social equity, specifically working toward improving access to affordable homes and transportation for low-income people and communities of color, Ms. Blackwell's knowledge and experience will be invaluable to conference attendees. A former senior vice president at the Rockefeller Foundation, she has appeared on Nightline, PBS’s NOW, and is a frequent commentator on public radio’s Marketplace and The Tavis Smiley Show. She has also been featured on the opinion pages of The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
