State of the Region - December 15, 2008

On December 15, 2008, the Bay Area Social Equity Caucus will convene its non-profit, labor, government, business & philanthropic allies to:

• Deepen our coalition’s understanding of the macro forces impacting low-income people and people of color in the Bay Area;
• Strengthen the coalition’s collective work, and the campaigns of member organizations.
• Share promising strategies for partnering across sectors to address inequities;
• Demonstrate publicly that a commitment to social equity in the Bay Area unites organizations across sectors and issue areas; and
• Provide an opportunity for members & allies to build and strengthen alliances.

This event will be an opportunity for members, allies, and other advocates, activists, and community members to connect and learn about Regional Equity efforts throughout the Bay.
